Marco Cazorla: Can you tell us about the story behind your business? How did it come into existence?
Ben Launerts: Well, Marco, Tint Haus Customs is not your ordinary shop. Jess and I opened our doors in April of 2021, and believe it or not, neither of us had any prior experience in this or any related business. Our love for cars brought us together – both of us managed different Mustang clubs in South Florida. It was an unexpected foundation that brought us closer than we ever imagined.
This week, I am highlighting the great and powerful team of California Tint in Everett, Washington. I am talking with James Park and his business partner, Ryan Yano. This dynamic duo has achieved remarkable success, building an outstanding team and earning the title of XPEL Dealer of the Year for three consecutive years. Marco Cazorla: Thanks for taking the time to chat with me today. Let's dive right in. James, how did California Tint come into existence?
James Park: It started when I was just 17, tinting windows. After a decade of working for others, I wanted more. So, in 2012, I relocated to Washington to start my own business. The journey wasn't easy. It took sheer determination, moving places, growing the team, and several years of hard work.
