I watch your team work and join them on the installation. We talk about their experience, their frustrations, and what they want to improve.

I pinpoint opportunities to improve and explain why a tool, angle, or technique works. We build on the skills your installers already have.

Make the changes together.
Your team practices with direct feedback. The goal is a process they understand and can continue using after I leave.
A better workflow starts before the film touches the glass.
Scattered tools, an unprepared workspace, and starting without a game plan can interrupt an otherwise capable installer. We look at tool placement, preparation, and the order of the job so your team can work with more purpose and fewer unnecessary interruptions.

Preparation and tool control
Glass cleaning, contamination control, film handling, tool selection, squeegee pressure, and planning the installation.
Cutting, shrinking, and installing
Hand cutting, heat shrinking, door windows, rear glass, bottom loading, two-stage methods, and checking the finished result.
Plotter use
Work on using your plotter as part of a consistent preparation and installation workflow.
Windshield protection film
Request windshield protection film installation training as part of your visit. Tell me the product and skills you want to work on so we can plan accordingly.

Support for the owner, too.
If you want help beyond installation, we can plan time for shop workflow, pricing and sales, or using Tint Wiz CRM. I can also provide a brief review of your website and social media with practical adjustments to consider.
These topics are included in the training plan when you request them, so we can allocate the time your team needs.
Demonstrate your skills
Earn your Certificate of Completion.
Available through both in-person classes and private training. To earn your Certificate of Completion from The Film Trainer, you must demonstrate the fundamentals and successfully complete each training module’s required skills.
The final practical assessment requires tinting a front door, rear door, quarter glass, and rear window within two hours total.
Your certificate is earned by demonstrating the required skills and passing the final assessment.
Plan your training
What your shop needs to provide.
- An indoor workspace suitable for hands-on installation.
- Film and installation tools for your team to use.
- Vehicles for training. If you need a training vehicle arranged, select that option in your enquiry so it can be included in the quote.
Two days minimum. Up to five installers.
The number of days and training priorities can be tailored to your team. I offer onsite visits nationwide and internationally, with dates and travel arrangements confirmed individually.
Pricing is custom to your location, training duration, group, and any vehicle arrangements. Request a quote so we can agree on the details.

Private training questions.
Does private training offer a Certificate of Completion?
Yes. Your certificate is earned by demonstrating the required skills and passing the final assessment. See the module and two-hour practical assessment requirements.
Can you train employees with no tinting experience?
Yes. We start with the fundamentals and build from their current skill level. New installers will need continued practice after training to develop consistency and speed.
Is this useful for an experienced installer?
Yes. We can focus on troubleshooting, workflow, efficiency, and alternative installation methods. I watch how you work before recommending changes.
Do you travel outside Texas or the United States?
Yes. Nationwide and international onsite training is available by arrangement. Include your city and country when requesting a quote so we can discuss travel and availability.
How much does onsite training cost?
Every visit receives a custom quote based on location, duration, installer count, and training needs. Training starts at two days for up to five installers. Any training vehicle arrangements are discussed as part of the quote.
Does the shop supply the film and tools?
Yes. Your shop provides film, tools, and an indoor workspace. You can provide vehicles or ask me to arrange a training vehicle and include it in the pricing.
Can we request help with sales or shop operations?
Yes. Owners can request time for workflow, pricing, sales, Tint Wiz CRM, or a brief website and social media review. Tell me your priorities before booking so we can plan the visit.
Can we contact you after training?
Yes. You’re welcome to send questions or installation photos after training. I personally respond as my schedule allows.
What if I would rather attend a scheduled class?
You can also view my three-day San Antonio window tint classes and choose an available date.
